Social impact investor Oikocredit has successfully sold its shares in Aseguradora Tajy Propiedad Cooperativa, marking the end of a five-year partnership that has significantly contributed to Tajy’s growth.
Since investing in 2019, Oikocredit has supported Tajy in overcoming challenges like the Covid-19 pandemic and climate impacts, helping the company expand its insurance offerings to low-income groups, particularly smallholder farmers. This strategic exit allows Oikocredit to reallocate resources to other impactful ventures.
